The following sequence of photographs shows a house construction that was completed in five weeks for a Venezuelan cooperative (OCV) using unskilled labor. The project was able to use the soil excavated on site and excellent blocks were the results. The blocks that were covered with a plaster were not stabilized, just compressed soil. The blocks that were left exposed were stabilized with 8% Portland cement by weight.
